MANILA – Accessibility remains a key problem in several polling precincts in the country, with some persons with disabilities having to hurdle challenges just to get to their designated voting area. An amputee in Pasig City was left with no choice but to climb all the way up to the third floor of Pineda Elementary School in Barangay Pineda, Pasig City to cast his vote. Bernie Cruz, whose left leg is amputated, said he was still thankful that the board of election tellers and fellow voters did not let him queue up anymore when he reached his precinct. - Radio dzMM, 28 October 2013
