Social services get bulk of 2014 national budget

Social services received the lion's share of the P2.265 trillion peso national budget for 2014 signed by President Aquino on Friday. The government also invested significant amounts in economic spending, debt servicing and general public services, spending the least for defense at only 4 percent of the budget.
