MANILA – Five people died when two buses collided at a highway in Libmanan, Camarines Sur on Sunday morning. An Antonina Line bus bound for Metro Manila collided into a Masbate-bound Elavil bus along Maharlika Highway at Barangay Mambulo Nuevo. The casualties include bus drivers Christopher Maquiñana and Elbor Bon, bus conductor Orlando Oli, passenger Marvin Ablay, and another still unidentified male passenger. At least 46 were injured in the accident. Some of the victims were brought to Bicol Medical Center and Mother Seton Hospital in Naga City. Reports said the Antonina bus swerved to the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
