Buko vendor uses bolo to hack dead lover's husband

MANILA – A "buko" vendor allegedly hacked dead the husband of a woman with whom he once had an affair. The victim, identified as Benjie Flores, was walking in Barangay Batasan Hills with his wife, Annie, and children when he was hacked dead by the suspect, only known in the area as Raymond. Teody Cedeño, the victim's son, said he is sure that it was Raymond who hacked his father. He said he ran after the suspect but failed to catch him. Cedeño said the suspect once had an affair with his mother. He said his mother eventually patched things up with his father and left the suspect for good.
