Kris praises Erich for staying loyal to non-showbiz BF

MANILA – Television host Kris Aquino praised Erich Gonzales for staying loyal to her non-showbiz boyfriend of three years despite the "temptations" of the local entertainment industry. Gonzales was one of Aquino's co-hosts on Tuesday's episode of "Kris TV," along with Carmina Villaroel and Pokwang. Aquino said she is amazed by how Gonzales handles her relationship at a young age. “Alam mo bilib ako sa wisdom [ni Erich] for someone so young. Kasi honestly sa totoo lang ah, mate-tempt ako kung kamukha ni Daniel Matsunaga ang nagpapa-cute. But at least focused siya,” she said. “She knows kung ano ang pahahalagahan niya sa buhay – long lasting relationship with someone na alam niyang may future,” Aquino continued. Thankful for the positive comments, Gonzales told Aquino that she values what she and her boyfriend have. “Three years na kami. I’m very much committed, ate. Hindi ako basta magpapadala lang sa kung ano,” she said. Aquino said she admires Gonzales for knowing her responsibilities at age 23. “Parang nagkabaligtad tayo ng edad. Yung maturity level nito iba. Responsible siya at hindi nagpapadala sa kagwapuhan,” she said. In a previous interview, Gonzales said her boyfriend, who is 10 years older, is not the jealous type. According to Gonzales, their families know about their relationship and they enjoy their full support.
