Real Madrid held off a determined fight back by Borussia Dortmund to secure their place in the Champions League semi-finals. Real edged past Dortmund, 3-2, on aggregate after a 0-2 defeat. With the win, Real remains on track for their 10th European Cup. Two first-half goals by Marco Reus, both coming from Real mistakes, gave Dortmund the lead. But Dortmund missed a great chance to level the tie in the second half as Real briefly recovered against the Germans. This is Madrid’s fourth consecutive semi-finals. -- Mornings @ ANC, April 9, 2014.
