The Commission on Elections on Tuesday officially launched its voter registration drive for the 2016 polls. Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes told radio DZMM some 9.6 million registered voters have no biometric records. Beginning Tuesday, May 6, until October 31 next year, voters can register, reactivate, transfer and modify information on their voter data. But what's more important - voters must have their biometrics done. The poll body will also kick off its "walkah walkah" campaign. Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez will walk from Laoag, Ilocos Norte to Matnog, Sorsogon to talk to voters about the importance of elections and get feedback from them as well. RADIO DZMM, May 6, 2014
