MANILA - Sen. Jinggoy Estrada made a stopover at the house of his father, former president and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, before going to Camp Crame to surrender. The senator arrived at the Estrada residence in Polk Street, Greenhills, San Juan, around 11:30 am. Lawyer Alexis Abastillas earlier said the senator will surrender quietly to authorities after the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division ordered his arrest. The lawyer said they will file a motion for bail before the anti-graft court. Estrada is accused of pocketing millions of pesos in kickbacks from his pork barrel funds. ANC, June 23, 2014
