Meet the France SailGP Team

On 23 October, 2018 4x world champion and 2016 Olympian Billy Besson was announced as the helmsman for the France SailGP Team, which also features Marie Riou, SailGP’s first female onboard crew member. The five members of the France SailGP Team are: Besson, (helmsman); Matthieu Vandame, (wing trimmer); Riou, (flight controller); Devan Le Bihan, (grinder); and Olivier Herledant, (grinder). In addition, Timothé Lapauw will serve as the reserve grinder.
