Mid-Autumn festival is a big acitivity in Viet Nam, and is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month in the lunar calendar which falls into the middle of Autumn.

On this special day, the members of the family gather and prepare many sweets, fruit and colourful lanterns

The typical festive food is mooncake which is quite sweet, and often drinking hot tea, usually green tea.
