Bs. As .: At its Campana plant, Cometarsa, an Argentine company of high technology in metal constructions, contributes to national development. Structures for distilleries, crane bridges, towers for high voltage lines, elements for turbines and hydraulic plants and complex equipment for transport, steel and oil are produced here. Coinciding with its 25 years of activity Cometarsa ​​has built a gigantic buoy to load oil in the sea that will have the function of linking a pipeline perched at the bottom of the sea with YPF vessels allowing pumping even with rough waters. This true floating platform of 11 meters in diameter and more than 170 tons of weight creates delicate transport problems. After several hours of complex maneuvers the operation concludes successfully. The classic champagne, joy in the builders and the powerful crane bounces the buoy in the Parana de las Palmas. From here you will be towed to your final destination in Caleta Olivia, south of Comodoro Rivadavia in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
