First case of e-cigarette related lung disease reported in S. Korea
A first outbreak of lung illness associated with use of e-cigarette or vaping has been reported here in Korea.
Korea's Centers for Disease Control said on Monday a patient had been suffering from coughs and respiratory difficulties after using vaping products.
Whether the case is directly linked to the use of e-cigarette is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, the US CDC has came to more than one thousand cases of vaping products related injuries and confirmed 26 deaths in total.
In response, South Korean Health Ministry has advised the public not to not use electronic cigarettes from last month.
