President Moon to chair economy-related ministerial meeting Thursday

Our starting point this afternoon President Moon Jae-in will be chairing a meeting of economy-related ministers today,... the first such meeting in 10 months.
We get more details from our correspondent Shin Se-min, standing by at the top office.
Se-min, what's the latest?
Jiyoon- the meeting had been scheduled a few days ago but the president's attendance did come as a surprise.
President Moon Jae-in, in two hours will chair an economy-related ministerial meeting for the first time in nearly a year.
The top office says the meeting with the economic policymakers will be a chance for the attendees to discuss a number of economy-related issues.
We can expect these to range from the economic growth outlook to employment data and the government's future policy direction.
The meeting today will include ministers of science, trade, employment and SMEs but Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki, who also holds the role of deputy prime minister, will not be at the meeting as he is in the U.S. for the G20 and IMF meetings.
The President rarely holds such meetings himself especially when both the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister, or the finance minister, are not present but through holding this meeting, President Moon can show his resolve in reviewing the economy while coming up with an action plan.
And I'll be sure to update you on the details as we learn them in the coming hours.
