Tattoos have become a trend. Whether it's fashionable or not, they're always subject to debate. Because when it comes to looking for a job, maybe it can play against you. In fact, according to McMaster University in Canada, those with tattoos tend to be more impulsive and reckless than those without. A study published in the Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization sought to explain why individuals tattoo themselves if it's not well seen by employers. The experiment included an economical game, in which more than 1,000 participants, with and without tattoos, had two options to earn money. The first option would give participants a dollar after 18 hours. The second, would give them a bigger prize in money, but after three weeks. It turns out: People without tattoos preferred the second option. While the tattooed, were more hesitant, switching between the first and second option. While a tattoo does not represent positive personal characteristics for an employer, it is one of the most significant cultural trends in the Western world.
