Passersby help paramedics tend to woman giving birth outside hospital gates in China
Kind-hearted passersby and paramedics helped a pregnant woman give birth at a hospital gate in southwestern China.
The video, filmed in the county of Zheng'an in Guizhou Province on November 3, shows a pregnant woman held by her husband standing outside Zheng'an People's Hospital after she suddenly went into labour.
The hospital workers walking past called over the nurses who pushed out a stretcher for the pregnant woman.
As the doctors arrived she was already about to give birth. So nearby passersby gathered around her to build up a human wall for the doctors to deliver the baby for the mother-to-be.
Finally, the woman gave successfully birth to a baby girl and was carried into the hospital by a nurse immediately before she was pushed inside.
The mother and the daughter are both in good health condition.
