Electric car driven along busy road for 10-miles with bonnet up in China

An electric car was driven along a road for around 10-miles with its bonnet up in northern China.

The CCTV video was shot in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on December 1.

According to reports, the driver attempted to charge the car which meant they couldn't close the bonnet properly.

The driver was fined 200 yuan (£22) by the police, reports said.
