In Gujarat, farmers have created a furore in Banaskantha, Mahesana, Sabarkantha and Patanam districts. Thousands of hectares of crops have been chopped up by the locusts in the border areas here. The grasshopper team coming towards Pak has also put the Department of Agriculture to sleep. Disaster rescue and relief force is also unable to do anything. The water is running back due to months of hard work of the farmers. Farmers are adopting various methods to eradicate locusts.
