Modi government plans to push the RBI for a fiscal lifeline in the form of another interim dividend, as it struggles to meet its expenditure commitments amid a steep revenue shortfall. Reserve Bank of India approved a 1.76 trillion rupees dividend payment to the federal government, including 1.48 trillion rupees for the current fiscal year.

देश में आर्थिक सुस्‍ती के बीच मोदी सरकार एक बार फिर रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया से मदद मांग सकती है। मोदी सरकार रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया से 45 हजार करोड़ की मदद मांग सकती है। ये दावा न्‍यूज एजेंसी रॉयटर्स ने किया है। रॉयटर्स की खबर के मुताबिक मोदी सरकार रेवेन्यू बढ़ाने के लिए ये कदम उठाने वाली है। इससे पहले आरबीआई ने केंद्र सरकार को 1.76 लाख करोड़ रुपये जारी किए थे।
