An Indian Army welfare team, posted in north Kashmir, rescued a local woman with pregnancy-related issues and ensured she reached Baramulla hospital in time to give birth to a healthy baby boy.

The footage, recorded on Wednesday (January 15), shows a group of soldiers carrying the woman on a stretcher up-hill through waist-deep snow.

Heavy snowfall in Kashmir Valley since Sunday (January 12) has rendered remote areas inaccessible.
