Mickey Wright, a four-time U.S. Women's Open champion and one of the most accomplished players in golf history, died on Feb. 17, 2020, at the age of 85. She was always celebrated by her contemporaries as having one of the greatest swings the game has ever seen.

In this historic video, fellow golf legend Gene Sarazen sets the stage for Wright to demonstrate what few people, if anybody, could ever replicate.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf's most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women's Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.
