Amazing drone footage shows the process behind the emergency dredging on Long Island, New York.
Drone videographer Mike Busch said: "Shinnecock Inlet is about 100 miles east of New York City on Long Island.
"A series of severe storms hit last Fall and knocked down the dunes protecting the road and businesses behind it.
"Emergency dredging in the late Fall washed out to sea so heavier equipment was brought in to protect the area."
This footage was filmed on February 23.
