According to Branham, the Bible's account of Enoch living 365 years was incorrect while the esoteric Book of Enoch's account of Noah conversing with Enoch was correct. Branham omitted the passages in the Old Testament describing Noah's righteousness.
By extending Enoch's lifespan and disagreeing with the Biblical account of Noah's righteousness, Branham claimed that the righteous Enoch and his translation to heaven represented his cult following in the rapture while the "sinful" Noah represented Christians outside of his cult.
