British producer and singer-songwriter Labrinth — real name Timothy Lee McKenzie — has been on the scene for years, debuting in the late 2000s with the Tinie Tempah collaboration “Pass Out.” But you probably know him better from any one of the hugely hyped new projects he’s worked on of late: in 2015, he contributed to The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness album, while last year saw him both collaborating with Sia and Diplo on the new supergroup LSD, and scoring the hit HBO show Euphoria. He was the vocalist and producer behind that show’s jaw-dropping final musical scene, too. For his FADER Top Five video, Labrinth lists his top five movie soundtracks, ranging from Hans Zimmer's work on Gladiator to obligatory Danny Elfman and Ennio Morricone namedrops plus an unlikely Mary Poppins shout out.
