Bulldogs star Corey Harawira-Naera posted a bizarre video on TikTok the day his team travelled to Port Macquarie prior to the sex scandal that’s rocked the club on the eve of the 2020 NRL season.
Harawira-Naera is seen dancing shirtless and mouthing the lyrics “girl, you know you turn me on” in a video posted February 25, the day his club travelled to NSW mid-north coast.

Harawira-Naera and teammate Jayden Okunbor have been stood down by the Bulldogs pending an investigation after they breached the NRL’s code of conduct by bringing two teenage girls back to the team hotel.

One of the girls was a student, who Okunbor had met on a club visit to her school.
The video from the Bulldgos star’s account was posted on TikTok, an increasingly popular social media platform for young people, which also features accounts belonging to a number of NRL players.

Harawira-Naera is filming dancing and singing along to L.A.B’s ‘In the Air’ which also includes lyrics such as ‘Can I take you on a ride?’ and ‘Loving your romance tonight.’

The Bulldogs forward has posted a number of videos to his account, including one where he’s seen slamming down a Great Northern beer.

Bulldogs CEO Andrew Hill confirmed that the club is investigating the incident.

“I can confirm that the breaches do relate to players bringing young females of a consensual age back to the team hotel,” he said.

“The club wishes to reiterate that while neither player is the subject of a current police investigation, these are very concerning matters that the club has treated very seriously.”
ydney Morning Herald reporter Michael Chammas revealed on Triple M’s Rush Hour with Mg that the club had been looking into the matter before it was made public yesterday.
