A vet in Illinois, USA swabbed a kitten's ear to find this infestation of mites.
Filmed on March 10 the footage shows a sample swabbed from a juvenile cat's ear where dozens of mites can be seen crawling within what appears to be wax.
The filmer said: "An ear swab was taken of a young kitten with itchy ears.
"A closer looks shows us that she had ear mites!"
