जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया और शाहीनबाग में रविवार सुबह किसी अज्ञात शख्स ने हमला कर दिया। अज्ञात शख्स ने जामिया के गेट नंबर छह पर गोली चलाई, जबकि शाहीनबाग में पेट्रोल बम फेंककर फरार हो गया। दोनों जगह पर नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन चल रहा था।
जामिया में कोरोना वायरस के चलते जामिया समन्वय समिति (जेसीसी) ने शनिवार को धरना-प्रदर्शन अस्थायी रूप से रोक दिया था। इस वजह से घटनास्थल पर कोई मौजूद नहीं था। दोनों मामलों की सूचना के बाद मौके पर पुलिस पहुंची और जांच के बाद केस दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी। फिलहाल पुलिस सीसीटीवी की मदद से आरोपियों की पहचान का प्रयास कर रही है।
In Jamia Millia Islamia and Shaheenbagh, some unknown person attacked on Sunday morning. The unidentified person fired at Gate number six of Jamia, while escaping by throwing a petrol bomb at Shaheenbagh. Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act were going on at both the places.
The sit-in protest was temporarily halted by the Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC) on Saturday due to the corona virus in Jamia. Because of this no one was present at the scene. After the information of both the cases, the police reached the spot and after investigation, registered the case and started the investigation. Police is currently trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV.
