Walter Feldkamp was a successful pianist and bandleader in the 1930s; on this lovely record his brother Elmer Feldkamp sung the vocal solo. Born into a musical family in New Jersey on April 8, 1902, to German parents, both brothers quickly showed an interest in music. At various times during his brief career cut short by early death, Elmer would team up with Walter, at one point in 1932 even duetting with him on piano on radio. For a detailed biography on Elmer Feldkamp, precious information is available on The Vintage Bandstand - Unsung Vocalists of the Past 5: Elmer Feldkamp. This beautiful performance was waxed in 1933.
