A stray dog whose head was stuck inside a plastic container was finally freed after wandering round in a daze for three days.
The hapless pooch trapped in the waste was seen by Sanan Limklang while he was riding his motorcycle in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeastern Thailand.
Sanan contacted the local rescue team to help him with the dog because it was in a panic and kept running away last Thursday (April 30).
Rescuers threw a fishnet to catch the frightened dog before immediately cutting the bottle from his head.
Sanan said he felt sorry for the dog as he had already seen it a couple of days before but it had run away each time he tried to help.
He said: "The first time I went by this road and saw the dog, I thought someone would help him as it looked like he was from a nearby house.
"However, when I saw him again three days later he was still struggling so I stopped and called him over. He kept running away so I called the rescue team to assist me."
