Wireless earbuds are what's next when it comes to tech, and its no surprise that Apple shook things up on this front recently.
They announced that newer iPhones would no longer support their traditional 3.5mm wired headphone jack.
Although Apple AirPods (from $159) now come with a wireless charging case, hands-free Siri, and longer talk-times, there is still a lot of other brands that Digital Trends says are just as effective.
Their list of AirPods alternatives for Android, Windows, and iOS devices include:
1. Samsung Galaxy Buds ($127): Digital Trends says that their lightweight, in-ear comfort, six-hour battery life, and price lower point makes them stand out.
2. Jabra Elite Active 65T True Wireless Sport Earbuds ($150): They have good sound quality, great noise isolation, are water-resistant and sweat-proof.
3. Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds ($300) Their earbuds have a higher price point, but come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, Smart Pause, and a transparent mode that lets in ambient sounds so you can remain aware of your surroundings.
