Heavy rain creates flood like situation in Mumbai, Tripura, Assam and Manipur

Starting with North, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan. Also a trough elongates from this system up to Assam across Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Hence, light to moderate showers are expected over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. But some parts of north east states received heavy rainfall leading to flood like situation in many areas of Assam, Tripura and Manipur. India's financial capital is also facing the after effects of heavy monsoon rain.
