UP Government reduces Ramzan holidays; announces off on Christmas, Diwali in Madrasas

Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has cut down on the number of holidays allotted to state-recognised madrasas in the calendar for the year 2018. As per the calendar issued by UP Madrasa Board Registrar Rahul Gupta, students studying in the Madrasas will now get holidays on Diwali, Dusshera, Christmas, Mahavir Jayanti, Raksha Bandhan and Buddh Purnima.
