The CBI has warned states and union territories of the electronic forgery software Sarberus, which is using covid-19 related messages to steal data from smartphones. Officials said that on the basis of information received from Interpol, CBI has alerted the states, union territories regarding the fishing software.

सीबीआई ने राज्यों और केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक जालसाजी (मैलिसियस फिशिंग) सॉफ्टवेयर सरबेरस के प्रति आगाह किया है, जो स्मार्टफोन से डाटा चुराने के लिए कोविड-19 संबंधी संदेशों का इस्तेमाल कर रहा है। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि सीबीआई ने इंटरपोल से प्राप्त सूचना के आधार पर फिशिंग सॉफ्टवेयर के संबंध में राज्यों, केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को सतर्क किया है।
