Antarctica की बर्फ के Colour में बदलाव, White से हो रहा Green, Scientist हैरान | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Antarctica conjures images of an unbroken white wilderness but blooms of algae are giving parts of the frozen continent an increasingly green tinge. Warming temperatures due to climate change are helping the formation and spread of "green snow" and it is becoming so prolific in places that it is even visible from space, according to new research published on Wednesday.

अंटार्कटिका में बर्फ का रंग बदल रहा है. सफेद रंग की बर्फ अब हरे रंग में तब्दील हो रही है. वैज्ञानिकों को पूरे अंटार्कटिका में 1679 अलग-अलग स्थानों पर इस हरे रंग के बर्फ के प्रमाण मिले हैं. वैज्ञानिकों ने बताया कि अंटार्कटिका के बर्फ का हरे रंग में बदलने का कारण एक समुद्री एल्गी है. जिसकी वजह से अलग-अलग जगहों पर ऐसे रंग देखने को मिल रहे हैं.
