Ingredients
For Mixture
Potato boiled & mashed – 1 cup
Carrot – 2tbsp (chopped)
Cabbage -2 tbsp (chopped)
Capsicum -2 tbsp (chopped)
Onion – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Salt – ½ tbsp
Black Pepper – ½ tbsp
Chaat masala -1 tbsp
Bread crumbs – 3 tbsp
Oil for fry
For Crumbing
Purpose Flour (maida) – 1 cup
Salt – a pinch
Water – 3/4 cup
Bread crumbs For Frying
Steps you need to follow (with timestamp):
1) Preparing mixture for veg balls - 00:33
2) Preparing balls - 02:41
3) Preparing maida for slurry - 03:40
4) Coating veg balls - 04:30
5) Deep fry Veg Balls - 05:34
Method
Step 1: To prepare the mixture for veg balls take a bowl and add mashed potato, carrot, cabbage, capsicum, onion and mix them together, for seasoning add salt, black pepper, and chaat masala and mix it well.
Step 2: Grease your hands with oil for making balls. Take a small portion of the mixture Roll to shape it into a round. Repeat the same for the remaining mixture and keep them aside.
Step 3: Mix together flour, salt, and water to make a slurry.
Step 4: Now dip the veg balls in the slurry and then dunk it in bread crumbs. Coat the crumbs evenly and then
Step 5: Deep fry them on hot oil till the outside is golden brown in color.
Remove and serve hot with sauces.
