Concerned neighbours are trying to help dogs that were abandoned in a warehouse that was closed due to the coronavirus quarantine.
The group of Aspin dogs have been trapped since March, surviving only on food and water given by kindhearted locals who live near the building in Caloocan City, the Philippines.
Animal lover Jocielyn Tisado, 40, said the building has been closed for several weeks after it was forced to close amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jocielyn said she has been trying to contact the owner of the building so that the dogs can at least get out of the establishment but to no avail.
In a video she took on May 25, the dogs were seen desperately trying to peek outside the gates hoping for some food.
She said: "I already told the village officials about it but since it's a private property they said forcefully opening it would be complicated.
''They have been left alone inside the building since March when the security guard left. They are only surviving because we are helping them.''
Jocielyn and her neighbours are not taking turns giving food to the animals hoping they would survive until the pandemic lockdown restrictions are eased.
