"Take a look around. Very soon, this will all be a long time ago".
Everybody can relate to the CMC in this Ep. We, as kids, often think about what it's like to be all grown up so much to the point that when we actually grow up, we realize just how much we missed out on.
The CMC in their height of being mares, made exactly the mistakes their sisters and co had warned them. I must say I had flashbacks to the earlier seasons, and treading through the Everfree Forest which was not a very safe place at the time, as they attempted to trot through that swamp.
I also noticed Mrs.Cake at the animal showcase. She could had brought the CMC to the fair. Surprised Scootaloo didn't ask, as Mrs.Cake stayed overnight with her on occasions as was revealed this season. I also must bring this up. Sweetie Belle was shown to be, well, so well prepared back in Forever Filly that she knew the exact moment a pony was at the door.
You mean to tell me that she didn't think to ask somepony in advance about the fair? Aw well, at least she kept a chart. You know, the CMC are actually more grown up than they think. They run a camp for crying out loud. They carry a lot of responsibilities that must foals their age could not handle.
So when their mares it's a bit understandable why they made these mistakes. They feel like adults, they work hard, they help with Twilight's school, so when they are repeatedly told...you know what? THIS IS SOMEPONY TO WATCH OVER ME TWO POINT ZERO. When Applejack babied Applebloom so heavily, Applebloom made it her mission to prove that she WAS old enough to handle herself, and got into hot lava for it.
This is no different. They are, in every sense, adults. They just made a mistake when trying to prove it. Which is their curse. Discord, Cutie Pox, Babs Seed's golden apple and least I should say Sapphire Shores. They make mistakes, but they own up to them so well that they should be allowed to attend a fair alone - if it wasn't so far away.
These 2 teen ponies, Biscuit and Spur, I wish we could had seen more of them. They seem like good characters to further build the CMC, and is it just me or could Spur pass as Cozy Glow's sister? Anyways - are these 2 brother and sister? As their just like Pound and Pumpkin Cake (Jim Miller theorized that they were cousins tho). With a mogwai as a pet, the first stage of a Gremlin. That is awesome.
I'm going on a bit yo long. Long story short this was a very fun Episode and I'm glad the CMC had 1 more outing before the final. They will always remain as my fave characters. Who should had asked Spike I mean COME ON WRITERS why didn't you think of him?
I also said I saw Cheerliee a few times in this Ep. I think that was just another mare that had her color scheme, but she was in clothes plus a hat so who bloody knows it might had been her. Seriously, missed character conflict.
Thank you for reading!
