"빈곤국 백신 지원 협력하자"... 글로벌 정상 11조원 모금

World leaders pledged 8-point-8 billion U.S. dollars to fund the global vaccine drive, aimed at developing and distributing vaccines to the world's poorest countries against infectious diseases including measles and polio.
The pledges were made during the Global Vaccine Summit 2020, hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson virtually on Thursday.
The UK remains the largest donor for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance with over two billion U.S. dollars over the course of next five years.
The alliance stated that the fund could help immunize 300 million children living in the world's poorest countries.
