In India till 2018, more mobile phones were imported than export. But in the financial year 2019-20, India exports 4 crores 15 lakh phones and imported 56 lakh phones. Union Cabinet Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that under Make in India Programme, India will become an electronic hub. Across the world, China and Vietnam lead in the export of mobile, but from now India also stands at the third position. India mobile industry was dominated by Chinese manufacturers but now India becomes self-reliant. Watch the video to know more.
