उन्हाळ्यात कैऱ्या मिळाल्या कि जसं लोणची, आमरस होतो तसंच मेथांबा हा सुद्धा झालाच पाहिजे. कारण त्यामुळे नावडती भाजी अगदी सहज वगळता येते.
लोणच्यासारखं ह्यात भरपूर तेलाचा वापर टाळला जातो आणि साखरे ऐवजी गुळ वापरून त्याची चव उत्तम केली जाते.
मेथांबा अगदी सोप्या पद्धतीने मी तुमहाला करून दाखवत आहे. एकदा खाल्लात कि वारंवार खावासा वाटणारा हा मेथांबा तुम्ही नक्की करून बघा आणि मला कॉम्मेंट नक्की करून सांगा.

In summer season most of Families start making Mangoes Pickles, Jams etc as siding for any lunch and dinner as Raw Mangoes are easily available in market to everyone.
Raw Mangoes and Mangoes are always mouth wondering and tempting food which everyone like it.
Raw Mangos Sweet Pickle which we called “METHAMBA” is prepared with very less oil and with Jaggery.
I will show you to make methamba in a very easy way. So you definitely try this and do comments.

Ingredients:-
2 big Raw Mangoes (२ मोठया कैऱ्या)
½ Bowl Jaggery(१/२ वाटी गुळ)
1 Tea Spoon Red Chilli Powder(१ चमचा लाल मिरची पावडर )
¼ Tea Spoon Turmeric Powder(¼ चमचा हळद )
¼ Tea Spoon Asafoetida (Hing) ( ¼ चमचा हिंग)
Salt as per Taste(चवीनुसार मीठ)
1 Tea Spoon Mustard (१ चमचा राई )
¼ Tea Spoon Fenugreek Seed(१ चमचा मेथी)
2 Table Spoon Oil (२ मोठे चमचे तेल)
½ Glass Water.(१/२ ग्लास पाणी)
Method:-
Wash gently and neat clean all Raw Mangoes and peel skin of it. Then cut into small pieces.
Heat a pan on low to medium and Add oil in pan.
When oil get heated add Mustard Seeds and roast for a while, then add Fenugreek Seeds and roast them too for a while.
Now Add Raw Mangoes Pieces into the pan and stir it well for 1 to 2 minutes.
Then Add water and cover it with lid to cook well.
Now add Turmeric powder, Red Chilli Powder, Asafoetida (Hing), Salt and mix it well.
Add Jaggery in mixture and again mix it till Jaggery get melt.
After that stir it for 2 to 3 min and off the gas flame and keep it aside to cool down.
After that store the Methamba in fridge in Air Tight Container Box for 15 to 30 days.
