Amazing footage shows a terrifying mass of dark clouds hovering over Taiwan's Taipei City skyline on June 26.
Nature enthusiast Liao Tim said he was mesmerised after seeing the thunderstorm covering the sky. He used his drone to capture the lightning among the clouds pouring rain on the city.
He said: "It was an incredible sight. You don't see this everyday. I'm truly amazed at how nature does its work."
The country's weather seasons include long, hot summers from May to September, winter that lasts from November to March, and brief Spring and Autumn on April and October respectively.
