Eskom wins court battle to increase electricity tarrifs

Consumers are in for another shocking increase in electricity prices next year. That's after Eskom won a court battle over the National energy regulator. The court found Nersa acted illegally when deducting a 69-billion-Rand equity injection into the power utility. The ruling paves the way for Eskom to implement electricity tariff increases of at least 10-percent for the next financial year. MD of EE Business Intelligence Chris Yelland speaks to us now.
