NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SEEKS INCREASED FUNDING FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The National Assembly has called on the federal and state governments to come up with initiatives that will boost science and technology in the country.

The senate committee members on science and technology led by Senator Uche Ekwunife, made the call on Wednesday during a familiarisation visit to the federal government’s technology incubation centre (TIC), enugu.

The Senate Committee Chairman on Science and Technology, Uche Ekwunife, while highlighting the relevance of technology in society, also urged government to engage youths with technological skills.
