It is the story about how a fox wants to be a "Top Dog" but the stigmas of the society won't let him and suddenly he is involved in a mission to save his town...So yeah, it's basically a rehash of Zootopia but without the creativity or the impressive design of the world. Not only is the plot completely unoriginal, it also doesn't make any sense. It is convoluted as hell. It's filled with tons of clichés and predictable elements, like...It feels like the writers either did it on purpose, or haven't seen any movie in their lives. The characters...Are not characters. No one has a believable character. "Swifty" might be the one who has a "character" but I would disagree with that statement, because he has a very dull motivation. He is supposed to be "relatable" because he is pandering to that demographic that has dreams of becoming "someone" and to be "famous" or whatever, because that's his only motivation. The villain is like...Like...The writers did it on purpose, don't fool me. He has ALL the cartoon villain clichés: He's over the top, he has a non-sensical plan, he has his "minions" (Those bird things), he's dumb, he has no motivation, he has a "tragic" backstory, he's no threat because he's an idiot, holy Christ! They seriously just made the most boring and cliché villain you could ever imagine. I seriously can't believe it. It must be a joke. Really this movie has all clichés you could imagine, including the generic forced love interest, "comical" ratial stereotypes (which are not funny, specially portraying them with cartoonish accents like this movie) and...You guessed it, fart jokes (although just like two times, thank God). In the technical aspects, we have the sound. The sound desing is awful. For some reason the quality of the voices is...Bad? I don't know maybe it was my earphones but the quality of the voices sounded weird, as if they were distorted. It relies too much on music. You can barely hear folies, and some sounds are bad! There are moments where characters get like punched in the face and the sound used for the impact is really weak. The voice acting is awful. Besides Jeremy Renner who for some reason seems like he had a blast, the rest of the actors were just phoning it in. The only reedeming quality this movie has is the animation(? I mean at least this movie looks competent. It looks like they tried in the visual aspect.

Overall this is a waste of time. Don't watch it for the love of God. Don't even make your kids watch it. There are so much better kids movies out there on Netflix than this. Don't say that I am being hyperbolic because it's a "kids movie" but I'm sorry. I'm of the opinion that making it for kids is no excuse to not give a sh*t. Is it fair that I make a bad movie, with a bad script, no characters and a cliché story and then say "it's a kids movie" as an excuse? Excuse me, but no.
