Earth's ice melts at alarming rate

The earth's glaciers and ice sheets are melting at an alarming rate. British scientists have found that 28-trillion tons of ice has melted over the past two decades. Scientists predict that this could cause sea levels to rise by up to a meter by the end of the century causing major problems in low lying areas.
