Scott Heyward is the son of a billionaire oilman. One day he decides to exchange his identity with Tom, a waterski instructor. So, while Tom enjoys his new good life in a big luxury hotel in Miami Beach, Scott has to make do with finding work in order to live. The guest of the hotel is the young and beautiful Dianne, looking for a rich husband. However, she ends up falling in love with "poor" Scott, not knowing that she has unintentionally realized her dream.
