The full results released for 73 seats in the Sabah elections showed that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah pact - which combines Perikatan Nasional, Barisan Nasional and Parti Bersatu Sabah - is able to form the state government with 38 wins combined.

Election Commission (EC) chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh who only announced on the number of seats each party won, said Perikatan got 17 seats, Barisan obtained 14 seats and PBS won seven seats, adding that Parti Warisan Sabah won 29 seats, with its allies PKR winning two seats and Upko bagging one seat.

Abdul Ghani also said that no untoward incidents occurred during the state polls which could have affected the voting process.
