Asbestos accused assets attached

Seven suspects in connection with a R255 million asbestos project appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's court today. All suspects have been granted bail. They are facing charges of money laundering, corruption and fraud. The Asset Forfeiture Unit has also been granted an order to attach assets worth more than R300 million, belonging to the suspects.
