The Rajasthan government has reached the Supreme Court regarding the issue of election of six municipal corporations including Jaipur. The state government wants to postpone elections due to the Corona epidemic. At the same time, the Rajasthan High Court has given instructions to hold elections till 31 October. The High Court had recently rejected the plea of the state government to defer the election and ordered to hold elections before the 31 October.
जयपुर सहित छह नगर निगमों के चुनाव के मुद्दे को लेकर राजस्थान सरकार सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंच गई है। राज्य सरकार कोरोना महामारी के कारण चुनाव टलवाना चाहती है। वहीं, राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट ने 31 अक्टूबर तक चुनाव कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। हाईकोर्ट ने पिछले दिनों ही राज्य सरकार की चुनाव टालने की याचिका को खारिज कर 31 अक्टूबर से पहले नियत समय पर चुनाव कराने के आदेश दिए थे।
