Growing calls to end hunger and pollution

The SA Food Sovereignty Campaign and its alliance gave parliament until next year to deliberate and adopt the Climate Justice Charter. Among issues raised in the charter includes hunger, thirst, pollution and climate harm. They hosted a peaceful march across the country on World Food Day calling on government to address the issues.
