But the number of victims worldwide was 3 million and the death toll was 2 lakh in a study conducted three months ago.
However, the current number of casualties has increased to 17 million and the death toll has tripled to 6,80,000. Corona spread is accelerating day by day. Last week, we observed a new major explosion in several countries. Corona spread can be reduced only through drastic measures. We learn new things about this virus every day. I am also pleased that the world has made progress in treating victims of the Covid19 virus.
Many vaccines found worldwide are currently being tested in tertiary clinical trials. Furthermore, we all hope that there will be many effective vaccines available to help prevent infection. Although the right medicine for corona is not yet available, it may never be available. For the time being, all countries must continue to adhere to the principles of public health and disease control to stop outbreaks.
